Communion Information
Our congregation is home to several individuals with food allergies and we always aim to be inclusive and clear about what we are serving each Sunday as we come to the Table. We practice intinction, but also have individual cups of wine of juice for those who need or prefer them. We have a regular bread option and a gluten-free option, both are egg and dairy-free. If you have dietary restrictions or food allergies, please let us know how to best accommodate you. This Table is for everyone.
Regular Communion Bread
We serve La Brea round Italian loaf and the ingredients are: Unbleached Enriched Flour (Wheat Flour, Malted Barley Flour, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Water, Sour Culture, Contains 2% or Less of: Salt, Yeast, Semolina. Additional information here.
Gluten-Free Communion Bread
We serve Schar ciabatta rolls as our gluten-free option. The ingredients are: Corn Starch, Water, Corn Flour, Rice Flour, Psyllium Seed Husk (Vegetable Fiber), Dextrose, Modified Cellulose, Soy Protein, Sunflower Oil, Yeast, Salt, Tartaric Acid, Citric Acid. Additional information available here.
